Trophy's in the cowboy
museum.
Pottery collected on
the ranch over the
years - storage vessels.
Decorated bowls.
Most of the pottery is
kept in glass display cases,
making photography nearly impossible.
Arrow heads and Ladles -
some of the ladles' handles
contained a stone rattle!
The pottery all came
from the ranch - beauty beyond description.
First stop was at a small ruin and a Navaho hogan.
The exterior of the hogan is layered in mud every couple of years - the
interior is constructed of logs.
One corner of the ruin had to be reconstructed when it
was pushed down by an elk rubbing against it. Everything is fenced out
now!
