My first thought when I
saw this one on the left - "Practice makes perfect".

The petroglyphs are hard to see in the thumbnails - click the thumbnails to see the details better in the full sized photo.

Look at the multi-footed
serpentine figure at the
top of this rock.

The pictures are not presented in the exact order of discovery along the trail.

These petroglyphs are very old - becoming very faint because of the effects of weather and the continued growth of the desert varnish is filling them in.  I had to wait for the panel on the right to be shaded before I was able to photograph it.

Some of the panels contain scores of petroglyphs - many are hard to see.
